Road Captain's Challenge:

The 2011 Road Captains Challenge will be the Ice Cream Challenge.
The Challenge will end at the April meeting and every one that succeeds in getting the most pictures of ice cream stores with their bike and an ice cream in the pictures will get a Road Captains Challenge pin and maybe a trophy or something for the most, the farthest away, you get the idea. Nov 13 (Sunday) Upland Riders food Run to the Plymouth Area Coalition for The Homeless We will meet at 9:30 at the Upland Club. After a photo shoot, we’ll head over to Route 80 in Kingston to the Shelter and drop off the food donations. The shelter also accepts donations of clean clothing and unwanted household items, cleaning supplies and personal care products.

Nov 13 (Sunday) After Upland Riders food Run some of us are heading over to the 49er’s for the 25TH Year of Toys For Smiles. Toy Run Legends are made in years, not minutes. This one is special! 25 Years of Toys!! FREE MEET 11-12:30 AT 49ERS HIGH ST ,BRIDGEWATER**LEAVES AT 12:30** PLEASE BRING A NEW TOY DONATIONS GO TO N.E. MEDICAL CENTER} PARTY AND TOY COLLECTIONS TO FOLLOW THE RUN TO THE E.B. COMM. CLUB $10. Donation INCLUDES ALL CAN YOU EAT CHILI , CLAM CHOWDER, BEEF STEW & DOOR PRIZES PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BANDS HAYWIRE DAVINCI & TRUE RUMOR.

Nov 19 (Saturday) DaveT will be leaving Cumbies at 8:30 in order to show our appreciation of the sacrifices Vietnam Veterans made for our country by riding in Plymouth's annual Thanksgiving Day parade behind a commemorative float to honor Vietnam Vets. There will be 25 Viet nam vets riding in front of the float and we have been asked to get as many bikes to ride behind this float.

Dec 3 (Saturday) Upland Rider’s Christmas Party, 6 pm till 11:00 pm. We’ll have a DJ. This is a pot-luck party, so bring your favorite dish! Please make sure it’s thoroughly cooked before arriving. We have use of the ovens only to keep food warm. We also ask that you bring a toy to be donated to the Plymouth Area Coalition for The Homeless.

Dec 4 (Sunday) Upland Rider’s Toy Run. Meet at 11 at the Upland Club. We will bring the toys to the shelter on Route 80. Weather permitting, there may be a ride to get a bite to eat afterwards.

Jan 1 (Sunday) Frosty Nuts Run! Meet at Cumbies at 10:30 or the 49ers sing ups start at 10:30 and the ride to JR’s Indian Head Pub leaves at noon. (Word of the day: “Layers”)
